90-Minutes Sessions Each Month

Shared Learning, Lasting Growth

True professional development extends well beyond formal training sessions; it flourishes through vibrant discussions and insightful reading.

By engaging in open dialogues about leadership and drawing upon the wisdom found in influential books, we not only broaden our understanding but also foster each other’s growth. Yet, the real transformation comes when we actively apply these insights in our daily practice. Throughout this programme, by reflecting on our experiences, gathering feedback from colleagues, and sharing our discoveries, we bring the written word to life—transforming knowledge into meaningful, practical change.

It is up to each group to select the book for reading but our suggestions are:

  • Radical Collaboration by J.W Tamm & R. J. Luyet
  • The Five Dysfunctions of a Team by Patrick Lencioni
  • No Ego by Cy Wakeman
  • Be more Pirate by Sam Conniff Allende
  • Dare to Lead by Brene Brown

What will you learn?

Listening to, engaging with, and reflecting on diverse perspectives on leadership.

Who is this course for:
For those who are too busy for professional development in Leadership.

Reading a couple of chapters each Month
Discussing ideas about leadership
Putting one idea into practise each Month
Sharing responses to that idea
Being challenged about how we see leadership
Opportunities to finding solutions to challenges

Yona, thank you so much for facilitating the Diverse Leadership Perspectives Book Club. You are a wealth of knowledge not only on the content of the book we discussed (Radical Collaboration) but you’ve given me a list of at least six other books that I’m looking forward to reading.

Too often we read business books by scanning them quickly and hoping we take in the key points. Slowing down this process to read bite sized chunks then discussing the topics in detail means that this was far more beneficial and practical than simply reading the book on my own. In the case of Radical Collaboration there was a lot of self-reflection regarding my own behaviours, opening my eyes to understanding the behaviour of others (why they may behave the way they do), and how armed with this understanding I can get more out of my relationships (both business and personal).

Thank you.
